PRIVACY POLICY

1. Purpose of processing personal data.

1.1   This privacy policy is designed to help the user understand what information we SIA "SALONU SERVISS", Reg. No. 40203320112, Brīvības Gatve 224B, Riga, Latvia, collects, why we do it and what we use the information for. We protect your personal information and always strive to ensure a high level of data protection. Our aim in collecting your information is to provide you with the best possible service. We guarantee to process your data lawfully, fairly and reasonably. The data is collected for the specific purposes of ensuring a successful cooperation and a positive shopping experience on the website of the Online Shop www.salonuserviss.lv (hereinafter referred to as the "Online Shop"). We store all data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the data collection. When processing data, we take care to ensure that your data is protected to the maximum extent possible using any technical and organisational methods.

1.2   We only process your personal data which you have voluntarily consented to or which is carried out on the basis of a contractual relationship (purchase, order, etc.), laws and regulations in force and binding in the Republic of Latvia, and is carried out to protect the legitimate interests of the Online Shop.

1.3   The legitimate interests of the Online Shop are:

1.3.1        to carry on business;

1.3.2        to prevent risks to the business;

1.3.3        to ensure the performance of a purchase and/or service;

1.3.4        to ensure and/or improve the efficiency and/or quality of the services provided by the Online Shop;

1.3.5        keep records relating to the cooperation between the Online Shop and you;

1.3.6        analyse the operation of the Online Shop website and make improvements to it;

1.3.7        administer completed and outstanding (uncompleted) payments;

1.3.8        take action to prevent and/or reduce fraud;

1.3.9        seek redress from law enforcement authorities and/or the courts to protect their legal interests.

1.4   By providing the Online Shop with your personal data, you acknowledge and fully agree that the Online Shop processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, this Privacy Policy and the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.

 

2. Collection and use of personal data

2.1    We collect and process only the data that is necessary to ensure a successful and positive interaction with the Online Shop. All purposes for which we collect data are lawful and reasonable.

2.2   The data we collect is based on the Distance Contract entered into between the Buyer and the Seller to provide our services:

2.2.1        Purchase Data. This data includes: name, personal identification number or code, email address, telephone number, delivery address (if delivery is required), delivery method, payment method, payment details (including bank account number), details of third parties who receive the goods. Please note that when you place an order, you may specify another person to receive the goods you have purchased if that person has given their consent. By providing us with information about the third parties who will accept the goods, you confirm that you have given your consent to the processing of their data. This also applies where payment for goods is made by leasing.

2.2.2        Data required for leasing of goods. This includes: name, surname, e-mail address, personal identification number or number, address of declared residence, address of actual residence, number of identity document and a copy of this document, information about your employment status, average income over the last 6 months. If you do not want to provide us with the data necessary for the purchase and the data necessary for the lease purchase, we will not be able to sell you the product. In order to conclude and perform the contract, the processing of these data is mandatory.

2.2.3        Registration data. This category includes your e-mail address as well as data that you may voluntarily provide: name, surname, gender, delivery address, payment card details. When registering on our Online Shop, you may voluntarily provide additional data. The processing of such personal data is carried out on the basis of the Distance Contract for the use of the e-shopping platform concluded between you and the Online Shop for the provision of the relevant services.

2.3   Data we collect based on the legitimate interests of our Online Shop.

2.3.1        Analytical data. In order to ensure a successful and convenient experience with our Online Shop, we continuously analyse customer interactions with our website. This data includes purchase and payment history, information search history on the website, product reviews, responses to organised surveys, our communication history, including email correspondence and telephone records.

2.3.2        Security Data. We carry out video surveillance in our outlets (shops). When you visit our stores, you may be captured on CCTV footage. We only review video footage in specific cases (incident, theft or other criminal acts) to protect our interests and those of the victims.

2.4   Data we collect without first asking your permission:

2.4.1        Cookie data - small files that are stored in the memory of your device. This makes it easier to browse the website and makes it more user-friendly, i.e. for you. Cookies do not contain information that could allow us to identify you. The online shop only holds anonymous information which we include in our analytical reports, but which does not allow us to identify you. It is not possible for third parties to access cookies.

2.4.2        Informational data. If We provide You with information about various offers, prize draws, promotions and other projects of the Online Shop, We process the following data: name, telephone number, e-mail address, device identification numbers.

2.4.3        Personalised data - e.g. name, phone number, email address, delivery address, history of delivery methods, history of payment methods, history of searching for information on our e-shop, purchase history, IP address, device identification numbers.

 

3. Transfer of personal data to third parties

3.1   We may provide third parties with certain information that we collect or hold to enable them to provide the products or services you have requested. The transfer of certain of your personal data is necessary for the proper fulfilment of your order.

3.2   We provide your personal data to service providers such as delivery companies, financial service providers (e.g. where leasing services are required), companies providing product warranty services, call centres and others who provide services to the Online Shop, including marketing and product promotion services.

3.3   Your personal data may be transferred to other parties in connection with legal proceedings by public authorities in accordance with the requirements of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

3.4   We may transfer your personal data to our insurers and professional advisors in connection with risk management, professional advice or for the purpose of bringing, pursuing and defending legal claims.

3.5   Financial transactions related to the purchase of goods on the Website may be processed by our payment service providers. We disclose your financial transaction data to our payment service providers to the extent necessary for the purpose of payment transactions, refunds and complaints handling.

3.6   We may transfer your personal data to other service providers for the provision of specific services, such as website hosting providers, courier services, server and server maintenance providers, email service providers, newsletter providers, survey providers and data protection officers. We will only engage service providers who have put in place/undertake to put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures that will ensure an adequate level of security of the data processing that is appropriate to the risk of a breach of the rights and freedoms of natural persons whose data will be processed under the data processing agreement and such processing will comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

3.7   The recipients of the data referred to in this section may also be located outside the Republic of Latvia, the European Union or the European Economic Area. We will only transfer your personal data to third parties who comply with the requirements set out in the General Data Protection Regulation.

 

4. Data retention period

4.1   We do not keep your data for longer than is necessary for the purposes of collecting the data or for the requirements of the law governing our business. We will retain the data that you have consented to us collecting until you withdraw your consent.

 

5. Customer rights

5.1   You have the right to opt-out of receiving commercial communications and to object to the profiling of your personal data at any time.

5.2   You have the right to correct existing personal data about yourself.

5.3   You have the right to withdraw your prior consent to the processing of data, to request the erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data, including data the processing of which is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and processed ("right to be forgotten"), by making a request. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data and/or the quality of the services received based on the consent prior to withdrawal. Your request will be complied with, except in the following cases:

5.3.1        if your data is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected (e.g. to make a delivery);

5.3.2        where the continued storage or processing is required by law or public authority or is based on our legitimate interests;

5.3.3        where you have not withdrawn your consent to the storage and processing of the data based on your consent.

5.3.4         we are obliged to process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of European Union and local laws and regulations;

5.3.5        we need to process your personal data for the purpose of bringing legal proceedings, complying with legal process or responding to legal process.

5.4   You have the right to obtain information about those natural or legal persons who have received information about you from the Online Shop.

5.5    You have the right to receive or transfer your personal data to another data controller ("data portability"). This right includes only data that the customer has provided to the Online Shop on the basis of their consent or contract and where the processing is carried out by automated means. In order to exercise the above rights, a written request is required.

5.6   You may opt out of the collection of your data for which you have given your consent. Please note that without certain data, our Online Shop services may not be fully available. For example, it is not possible to make a purchase on our Online Shop without providing any data at all.

5.7   You can change your cookie settings at any time in your web browser. For example, you can revoke your consent to the storage of cookies by unticking the function in your browser that allows you to reject all cookie storage proposals.
